Dr. Christopher Bookout

Dr. Bookout practices general orthopaedics with special interests in the areas of Sports Medicine and the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries. He uses the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. He also provides fracture care, treats hand and foot injuries and arthritic joints, including performing knee replacement surgery.

Prior to joining Andrews Institute ASC, Dr. Bookout served as a staff Orthopaedic Surgeon at Naval Hospital Pensacola for two years. Dr. Bookout is a former US Naval Flight Surgeon and served for two years with Oceanographic Development Squadron Eight.

Dr. Bookout travels annually with the USA Hockey U-18 Team to Europe as the team physician. He serves as team physician for Milton, Pace and Navarre High Schools and is involved with youth sports.

Dr. Bookout has published scientific papers, been an invited speaker at national and local conferences, and offers commentary on orthopaedic-related issues on the radio and in the newspaper.

Dr. Bookout is an avid runner and golfer. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children.
